Scooby Doo Soundboard update

scooby doo soundboard

1. Added 3 new monster soundbites
2. Fixed layout/orientation bugs
3. Better compatibility with ICS and JB devices
4. Added a set of Scooby Doo wallpapers, which can be set as backgrounds from within the app.

This was a fun update to tackle. The layouts were giving me all kinds of trouble with larger screen sizes, such as large tablets. Ended up having to create a couple new xlarge layouts. Three new sounds from the monsters on Scooby Doo, the Star Creature, the Neon Phantom, and a Skeleton.

Also, I decided to add a wallpaper activity to the soundboard to give it some more functionality. Included are 6 or 7 wallpaper backgrounds which can be set from within the soundboard.

Last but not least, I compiled with a lower android:targetSdkVersion for better compatibility among new and old devices.

Brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 in my hands

samsung galaxy s3

Today I decided to update my phone and get on the Samsung Galaxy S3 bandwagon! This phone sparked my interest because I became bored with my Motorola Photon 4G, and after waiting forever for an unlocked boot loader, I will not be trying any Motorola devices any time soon. I have been using the Galaxy for a few hours now and it really is a solid device. Being an Android developer, I try to keep up on the latest and greatest of devices. The screen is amazing, and it makes the iPhone look like a child's toy. Apps run very smooth, its very fast, light, and it is hard to put this phone down. It is a great device and I'm happy about my decision to ditch Motorola and try out the Samsung Galaxy S3.
